THRHA is accepting applications for Alaska Native homeowners financially impacted by COVID to make sure you remain safely housed in the following communities:

  • Kasaan
  • Saxman
  • Skagway
The Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) program was established to mitigate financial hardships associated with the coronavirus pandemic by providing funds to eligible applicants for the purpose of preventing homeowner mortgage delinquencies, defaults, foreclosures, loss of utilities or home energy services, and displacements of homeowners experiencing financial hardship after January 21, 2020. Homeowners will need to apply for the program through an online web portal and submit documentation to verify their eligibility to receive funds for qualified expenses related to mortgages and housing.
